چکیده

In the context of global warming, the problem of stabilization of the concentration of carbon in the atmosphere is widely discussed. Serious difficulties in the design of reliable stabilization strategies arise due to the uncertainty of the underlying physical model. In this paper, we suggest a pattern to construct modelrobust feedback carbon emission strategies that stabilize the atmospheric carbon concentration at a prescribe target value irrespective of a particular admissible carbon cycle model governing the “real” dynamics. Specific qualitative features of the carbon cycle dynamics, including automatic stabilization under vanishing inputs are employed.

Estimation of gas emission from municipal solid waste landfill in Kuhdasht city using LandGEM software

Background: Large amount of solid waste is annually produced in Kuhdasht city. These waste materials are decomposed by anaerobic microorganisms after burying in disposal site and produce large amounts of gases (mainly methane and carbon dioxide). This study aimed to estimate the gas emission from solid waste disposal of Kuhdasht city using a tool known as LandGEM software. Materials and Method...

اندازه گیری بعضی آلاینده های هوای خروجی از زباله سوزهای بیمارستانی در شهر همدان در سال 1380

Background and purpose: Hospital wastes pose a serious public health problem. This is primarily caused by the way individual components of the waste is handled. One acceptable method for managing the medical waste is incineration but uncontrolled incinerators can cause emission of pollutants to atmosphere. The objective of this study was to evaluate pollutants emission from hospital waste ...

Simulation of methanol synthesis by hydrogenation of carbon dioxide recovered from combustion gases of Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit of Abadan Refinery

Refineries produce about four percent of the global carbon dioxide emissions, close to one billion tons per year. Globally, the refining sector is the third largest producer of carbon dioxide after the electricity generation and cement industry. This greenhouse gases is a major cause of global warming and climate change and is a serious threat to human health and the environment. One way to redu...

Modeling of Combustion and Carbon Oxides Formation in Direct Injection Diesel Engine

When looking at the effects of diesel engine exhaust on the environment, it is important to first look at the composition of the exhaust gases. Over 99.5% of the exhaust gases are a  combination of  nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water. With the exception of carbon  dioxide, which contributes about  5% of the total volume, the diesel engine exhaust consists of  elements which are part of...

An effective and ecofriendly suggestion to decrease atmospheric carbon dioxide by using NH3 gas

Global warming is increasing permanently, because the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is rising continuously. According to National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere was 407 ppm in June 2016 and 413 ppm in April 2017 as a last record for now. If the effects of other greenhouse gases, such as CH4, N<su...
